Well I’ve had some range time with the Tricer-RP. I’ve shot it out to 700 with very good results. Here are some thoughts:
Weight is incredible for a bipod with this much stability.
I can adjust leg height one handed while in position, a huge plus for hunting.
Range and type of adjustment are great. The long legs worked from the bench, prone and sitting.
Changing legs is involved, requiring an Allen wrench and involving two set screws per leg.
The feet are interchangeable and this is actually a bit of a problem. On recoil the foot of the left hand
Leg loosens under recoil. I actually had to go searching in the grass for it. I’m going to solve this with a dab of removable loctite, but it’s something to be aware of.
All in one package with adaptability to make it your own. I like having the option to change from a 6-9" legs to 12-27" legs. The provided picatinny rail is a nice add to the whole package.
Very impressive product—versatile and simple. Most bipods, in my opinion, are too short for practical use in many field situations. This product solves that, I look forward to using it this season.
