The pic rail attachment when used to secure to the rifle swivel stud is not properly designed. I was not able to get the bracket tightened to the file without putting a pad underneath it, which was not provided. I tried it on 4 different rifles and couldn't get the bracket tight on any of them. Just to make sure I wasn't doing something wrong I took it back to Scheels where I purchased it and they tried it and agreed that you needed to provide a pad underneath it to get the bracket tight to the rifle stock. I had to go to Menards and buy a furniture pad and cut it down and make a whole in it and then it worked fine. Did not expect this on a product that costs this much to start with. Love the bipod once I got it properly secured to the rifle. Wouldn't have had an issue if I already had a pic rail on the file stock but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
Build Quality & Design
The Tricer RP impresses right out of the box. Lightweight yet solid, it’s clearly designed for precision shooters and hunters who demand stability without extra bulk. The carbon fiber legs feel rugged, and the machining on the locking mechanisms is clean and tight.
The cant and pan adjustments are smooth, with just the right amount of resistance. The low-profile design keeps the rifle sleek and maneuverable, which is especially useful when shooting prone in rough terrain.
Mounting & Compatibility
Installation on my Sig .300 PRC was straightforward. I used the arca plate and had no issues getting it locked down. It maintains a rock-solid connection—no slop or wiggle, even under recoil from the Sig Sauer .300 PRC.
I have only messed with it and not actually used it seams to be really good though
