Like the upside down legs. Coupled this with bino mount, really quick on off and very balanced. Look forward to using it more.
I bought this tripod to use as a photography/videography tripod on backcountry hunts for filming and photography, It's definitely light, but the cons outweighed the pros. All three legs have come out of the inserts, and I had to re-glue them all, the legs love to spin when trying to loosen them and the entire plastic insert will twist instead of the leg loosening up it just spins in circles. Where the legs hinge it will loosen as well so make sure to have an Allen wrench that matches the bolts handy or else they will just slap all over while trying to move around while having a camera+long lens attached. Makes for a pretty difficult stalk. The weight hook at the bottom of the center carbon fiber rod also unscrewed itself at some point and is on a mountain somewhere. Pretty un-impressed. Sad since I loved the idea of the company being based here in the states, the inverted leg style, all of it is really an awesome idea, but when it comes to it making my work easier, it just doesn't do the job. I did reach out about a month after I purchased when I had the issue with the first two legs coming unglued, but was told I could just re-glue them myself and would be sent a head for the tripod. I don't want a new head, I want a working tripod after I spent $360 on it. I've ran the tripod for around 8 months and after repeatedly fixing it myself from the same issues, I just figured I'd put my experience with it down. I personally can't justify it anymore.
I’ve got a backpacking hunting trip coming up this year and wanted a light weight tripod to take along. I recently purchased the Tricer AD with the DZ head and QB binocular mount and have been using around my property before I take it hunting. So far I’m pretty happy with the setup. It’s light weight but still seems solid enough and holds my Vortex 18x56 binoculars well without much vibration or movement. The height adjustments work well for me between sitting and standing. This is a light weight setup and I didn’t buy it to clamp my rifle to. I am thinking about getting the rifle rest only to use as a means to steady my rifle for long shots.
My first impression is I like it for what I bought it for and don’t intend to ask too much of a light weight setup.
