I am very pleased with the Tricer-DH head. I actually installed this on a two vets recon tripod I already had. I like this head much better than my old one and is very rock solid. I ended up dropping some totally weight which was a bonus. The tripod is mainly used for competitions but I’m doing a hunt out west in the fall and I really wanted to drop a little weight off the tripod and it did just that. The only thing is be aware of is that it is silver vs the photo which shown is black. Not a deal breaker for me because it works so well. I actually kind of like because since it is a lighter color it is easier for me to pick up at night for coyote hunting when throwing the rifle on it.
