I’ve got a backpacking hunting trip coming up this year and wanted a light weight tripod to take along. I recently purchased the Tricer AD with the DZ head and QB binocular mount and have been using around my property before I take it hunting. So far I’m pretty happy with the setup. It’s light weight but still seems solid enough and holds my Vortex 18x56 binoculars well without much vibration or movement. The height adjustments work well for me between sitting and standing. This is a light weight setup and I didn’t buy it to clamp my rifle to. I am thinking about getting the rifle rest only to use as a means to steady my rifle for long shots.
My first impression is I like it for what I bought it for and don’t intend to ask too much of a light weight setup.
My first tripod and I have to say it’s amazing. Super lightweight but rock solid. Worth every penny. Shot a doe this evening with my 15lb competition rifle on top of it. Handled the weight like a champ
