Before receiving my bi pod I saw some videos going around social media of people showing issues they had with the product. As soon as I received it I went through it all and put some extra pressure to the areas shown to have had a problem in the video. I gave a decent amount of force (more than I would on typical use) and had zero problems. I have used a few times now hunt and shooting with zero issues. Again I'm not trying to torque everything with all I have. Zero problems and zero regrets. Great product and is working flawlessly this spring bear season.
I’ve now put a few hundred rounds down range from atop the Tricer RP. I love how versitile the set up is. It works on all my rifles. The pic and arca adapters are both great. The interchangeable legs are a nice touch, however for me, the reason for purchasing this bipod was the height I could achieve with the long legs. Also interchangeable feet are great. The overall stability of the bipod is pretty good. I feel like the longer legs, and a slight bit of give in the system allow for a small degree of instability. So not necessarily the tool for shootin the tightest groups possible at a range. But still plenty stable for most any realistic hunting type scenarios. I personally like the pan/can’t feature. I know some people are anti-pan. But for coyotes or big game 200-300 yards it’s pretty convenient. And anything further, just lock it in perpendicular and it’s good to go. My biggest complaints are with the swivel stud to pic adapter. First, the “sling stud” on the adapter itself gets in the way of the locking throw lever for pan/cant adjustments. It still functions. But contacts the lever to lock and unlock the bipod. Second complaint is, I bent the adapter. I don’t load the bipod forward with much pressure at all. But maybe my buddy using it was? Anyway, the pic rail bent to about a 20 degree angle downhill from the swivel stud and nut piece. Will more than likely have to replace. Overall though, a good bipod at a great price. A useful tool for the western big game bi-pod shooters out there, especially for those who are often presented with sitting, kneeling, up hill or downhill type shots.
This thing is incredible. The modularity is amazing. It’s like having a thousand dollars worth of bipods in one package.
