If your in to bi pods you wont be disappointed. And they are super light weight.
This head works great. I have had several other small pan heads including the RRS and the Outdoorsmans micro pan head. This one is smoother than both of the more expensive heads I've used. Hopefully it is more durable than the Outdoorsmans one. I have had to send two back to be repaired. I have not tried putting my spotting scope(BTX 85mm) on the Tricer yet. We'll see how this head holds up over time.
I found it a bit difficult initially to get past the price of the Tricer-RP, but I am so glad I eventually "pulled the trigger" and ordered one. It is incredibly versatile making it perfect for the steep mountains of Idaho where I hunt, stands up to the recoil of my 300 Win Mag, allows for a rock-solid shooting platform and is literally everything I hoped it would be. All that backed by exceptional customer service. I reached out to Tricer with a question and received an immediate friendly response with world class customer service. I will be more than happy to continue to support this company with future purchases and highly recommend this bipod. 5 stars all day!
