At first I was skeptical of whether or not I needed this level of quality in a tripod to do what I needed. I am an avid western hunter chasing bears and antlers in the spring and other big game in the fall. This last spring I went with a much cheaper tripod and did okay. Having now used the Tricer AD in the field I can confirm it is well worth it. The AD is solid, easy to deploy and makes my glassing 100x more stable than my last tripod did. If you are on the fence and thinking of going with anything else for a tripod, I'd encourage you to save yourself the time and headache and get Tricer.
Between guiding and packing for an outfit I’ve seen and tested more gear than I want to admit. Hunting late rifle in deep snow looking for longer shots in awkward terrain this is the ideal system/ bipod to make it work! The adjustments length and entire system is ideal including being lightweight needing to make moves on big game.
