So, the pros... this thing is ULTRA lightweight, and very easily packable. It's so nice to carry around with my coyote rigs. The fit and finish are amazing. I love the quarter-turn, reverse deploying legs immeasurably more than my death grip or my infinite. It really is a very nice tripod.
The cons: stability. Without the center post extended, I see no marked improvement in stability over my Bogs. The locking lever on the ball head is a very nice touch, though. The real problem is with the center post extended. I'm 6'6, so I need about every inch I can get out of the extension. Therein lies the problem. The lateral bounce is nearly intolerable. A light wind will twist the center post an inch in each direction. It is pretty challenging to have accurate windage results for shots at even medium distances (1-200 yds.). I can not recommend this tripod for taller shooters. If you require little to no center post extension, you should be fine. Otherwise, look for something geared more toward taller shooters. Overall, though, it's a pretty solid accessory.

Got myself one to try it out. love it, it blows the competition out of the water. The price is fair, I shown to my hunting buddies and they wanted one, had to order them as well. It’s light and durable. And especially on a slope or sitting position. You don’t gotta worry about if it is long enough. Perfect size. Helps with those long range shots or awkward positions. The Tricer RP does the job.
Took this thing out on a Texas Aoudad hunt and it crushed it. Prone, sitting or kneeling. High/low angle. Would highly recommend.
Ran the Tricer-RP Hunting Bipod both at the range and in the field, and it’s been rock solid. Lightweight, easy to adjust, and locks in tight when you need it. You can tell it’s made by guys who actually use their gear—not just design it. It’s simple, dependable, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do without any fuss.
Appreciate the quality and the thought behind it—this one’s staying on my rifle.
