As a whitetail hunter who self films I wanted to get a lightweight fluid head that would also flex if I chose to go out west. This was a perfect fit, it’s dual purpose for glassing with a spotting scope, binos, or in my case tossing on my bulky mirrorless camera Sony a7iii. This head really is buttery smooth, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this product to others. Only issues is cost, it’s pretty expensive comparatively to some small rig fluid heads. Tricer should also include the cold shoe mount adapter with the head. Selling each piece independently only jacks up the price even more and would think if you’re buying the head that it would include it. With that said, I also understand that I’m not using it in as it’s intended and Tricer is allowing the customer to build their kit based on the application.

This provides such a sure and well built platform for my large glass and allows for quick disconnect and swap between attachments.

Only issue have with it is I wish I could somehow take the original arca off of my pan head so I could have a more slim line pan head. I know most pictures have this run directly on the tripod but I can honestly say I’ve never taken my pan head off. Even if I’m glassing with binos, spotter, and shooting a rifle all in the same day!
