I purchased the tripod at the end of hunting season 2023, paired it with the LP, and have now used it for about 11 months. Living in the mountains of Montana, I can say that I have personally carried it in a pack for over 200 miles, used it in all weather conditions, on unstable terrain, and in gale force winds. This tripod does not disappoint! I use it for my spotting scope (Athlon Ares G2), my binoculars, and also for a gun rest (300 WSM topped with Vortex 4x12 Viper). The Tricer AD Tripod is the best of both worlds, extremely light weight yet very strong and durable. I make my living in the outdoors and depend upon my equipment to take a beating with constant use, I also pack a lot of gear into the back country so saving weight where I can is extremely valuable. The AD is the lightest tripod I have used that still enables me to stand while glassing and not so light to sacrifice stability and durability. Having the ability to utilize my spotter and shoot off of the tripod while still being compact and light is a huge benefit. The construction is very good and the function is very well thought out with easy to use leg locks and position levers. After years of carrying expensive, heavy, and bulky tripods the Tricer AD is exactly what the hunting industry has been needing.
