Bad adapter plate

I got this plate to go in my tricer dz but the bolt on the arca plate wouldn’t fit in my spotting scope so they sent a adapter to convert it to the right threads but the adapter once in sets higher then the plate and the adapter hits before the arca plate so it won’t stay tight on the spotting scope
