Well built and easy to use. I purchased this because of the brand reputation and the functionality. The legs lock from top instead of bottom like most tripods. In the brush and dirt thus works very well. No more dirt to wipe off the legs before it retracts smoothly.
The pan head also works well. I wanted this style rather than the ball, again to keep the dirt and dust out of the mechanism. This pan head is like having sealed system for horizontal and vertical movement and the adjustment tension hold the large spotting scope in place with ease.
Highly recommend this sysyem.

West tripod ever super easy to use and figure out. I really like the rock solidness glassing in the wind! Super excited to see how the season goes I feel like I will see more game.
