The unit uses a replacement battery cover to attach.
1. Cannot get to thread easily, also you will hate changing out batteries and likely to strip threads after a couple of battery changes
2. The adaptor leaves battery compartment unsealed even though there is a rubber o-ring under the threaded cap
I received my blood and immediately put it on the gun and went bear hunting. I haven’t got a shot on a bear yet but love the bipod so far. I used the pic adapter to put on my Winchester model 70 30-06 so I can run the bipod on that then put the short legs to go sight in my 300 wsm. Love this bipod.
